How I Can Help
Compassionate, credentialed support for families navigating separation, divorce, and co-parenting challenges.
A neutral guide through difficult transitions
Whether you are facing divorce, working through a custody dispute, or struggling to co-parent effectively, I offer structured, confidential processes designed to help you reach workable agreements — without the cost and conflict of litigation.
Service 01
Mediation
A voluntary, confidential process that helps separating or divorcing couples reach their own agreements with the guidance of a neutral professional.
Mediation gives you and the other party control over the outcome of your dispute. Rather than having a judge decide the terms of your separation or divorce, mediation empowers both parties to communicate, identify priorities, and craft solutions that work for your unique family situation. Sessions are confidential, and any agreement reached can be submitted to the court for approval.
This service covers:
- Divorce and legal separation
- Division of marital property and debts
- Spousal maintenance
- Child custody and parenting time
- Child support
- Modifications to existing court orders
Ideal for: Ideal for couples who want to resolve their matter efficiently, privately, and on their own terms.
Service 02
Parenting Consultant
A court-appointed or agreed-upon neutral who helps co-parents resolve ongoing disputes about their children — with decision-making authority when needed.
A Parenting Consultant (PC) works with co-parents to address disputes that arise after a divorce or separation. Unlike a mediator, a PC has the authority to make binding recommendations on certain parenting issues when the parties cannot reach agreement. This role is particularly valuable for families with ongoing conflict who need a consistent, knowledgeable resource to help them navigate co-parenting challenges.
This service covers:
- Interpreting and applying existing parenting plans
- Resolving disputes about schedules, holidays, and activities
- Addressing communication breakdowns between co-parents
- Making recommendations on parenting decisions
- Helping families develop long-term co-parenting strategies
Ideal for: Ideal for co-parents who need ongoing support and a neutral decision-maker to resolve disputes outside of court.
Service 03
Parenting Time Expeditor
A faster, more affordable alternative to court for resolving time-sensitive parenting time disputes.
A Parenting Time Expeditor (PTE) is a neutral professional who helps resolve parenting time disputes quickly and cost-effectively. The PTE process is governed by Minnesota statute and allows for expedited decisions on parenting time issues — typically much faster than waiting for a court hearing. A PTE can interpret existing parenting time orders and make binding decisions on parenting time disputes.
This service covers:
- Interpreting existing parenting time orders
- Resolving disputes about missed or denied parenting time
- Addressing schedule changes and make-up time
- Making expedited, binding decisions on parenting time issues
- Reducing the need for costly court appearances
Ideal for: Ideal for parents with an existing parenting time order who need fast, binding resolution of a specific dispute.
